General Information:

Accent Studios produces one of a kind tile murals for your home, garden or office. Each tile in our custom tile murals is carefully handcrafted and glazed with high fire durable ceramic glazes. All tiles are hand-decorated with colored ceramic glazes which are painted on in layers to create a luminous finish upon firing. Color samples are available however color variation is a characteristic of handcrafted ceramic products as each firing in the kiln can affect the glaze color.  A final coat of clear glaze is applied to seal and protect the colored glazes. Each tile is fired for twelve hours to a temperature of over 1900 degrees which creates an extremely durable finish. Some designs are produced with multiple firings.

Standard tile size is 6″x6″, however 4″x4″ tiles are available, and it is possible to hand-make tiles of differing sizes and shapes to fit your custom application.

Delivery dates depend upon the size of the order, the type and availability of materials, and prior commitment. Usual production time for a mural of average size is 4 to 6 weeks. This may vary due to complexity of design and the size of the mural.

Pricing:

Hand-painted tile murals are priced at $160.00 per square foot for your design. An additional $20.00 per square foot is charged for raised or carved designs.

If you have a favorite photo or painting it can be reproduced as a tile mural.  If you would like us to provide the design, our design services are available at a cost of $25.00 per hour.
